Dr. Rachel, DPT
Rachel is a Doctor of Physical Therapy passionate about helping patients move better, feel stronger, and return to the activities they love. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2018, and went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from High Point University in 2021.
After completing her education, Rachel spent four years practicing in San Diego, where she gained extensive experience treating a wide range of orthopedic and pelvic health conditions. Recently, she moved back to her hometown of New Albany to be closer to friends and family, and has loved getting to explore all that Columbus has to offer.
In her treatment approach, Rachel believes that the patient’s goals are the most important part of care. She takes time to assess all areas of dysfunction and develops individualized, patient-centered treatment plans with each person’s goals at the forefront. Her philosophy is simple: the body has the tools to heal — it just needs the right input.
To help patients reach their potential, Rachel utilizes a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic and mobility exercises, and targeted stretches to restore function and balance. She has also completed advanced pelvic floor training and is skilled in treating women’s pelvic dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, bowel and bladder changes, and prolapse.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, navigating postpartum changes, or simply looking to move and feel your best, Rachel is committed to helping you achieve your goals with compassionate, evidence-based care.
